Hi everyone,

Felix Mödritscher has kindly allowed me to forward this email with
slides from his students on implementing inter-widget communication in
Wookie. I know this topic has come up before on the list so I'm sure it
will be of interest to some folks here.

Wow, this is great.
I think further expanding on this and making this an integrated feature of
Wookie would be very nice.
For our goals for integrating and embedding Wookie in portal environments, inter-wookie/widget communication will be a very important feature, so I'm definitely interested in seeing further development in this area.

Hi Scott,

Attached the slides of the presentation our student group presented last
week. I will ask my colleague to provide the Wikipedia-GoogleMaps
example on our demo server. The students had to modify Wookie slightly
in order to realise the data exchange between the two widgets (with
differnt
types). I can't tell you more right now as I am awaiting their work
and the
sources. Besides I'm just in a deliverable writing phase, so I won't
react in
the next 1-2 weeks. But I will send you an link to the online demonstrator
and the seminar work.

Best,
Felix
