Hi again,
seems to be my day for mailing the wookie list. I responded last night perhaps
prematurely to Anton regarding the
juel-impl-2.1.2.jar issue.
I was playing around this morning trying to deploy the example weather.wgt by
dropping it into my
/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/wookie/deploy directory - it just doesn't appear
anywhere in the list within the wookie admin. So I got
to checking the logfiles again and found this:

validateJarFile(/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/wookie/WEB-INF/lib/servlet-api-2.5.jar)
- jar not loaded. See Servlet Spec 2.3,
section 9.7.2. Offending class: javax/servlet/Servlet.class
To be sure I cleared the logs and restarted Tomcat, it appears right at the
beginning when Tomcat loads.
I have also checked the deploy settings; in widgetserver.properties.
# Set hot_deploy to true, and .wgt files dropped into widget.deployfolder
# will automatically be added to the server
widget.deployfolder=/deploy
widget.hot_deploy=true
Alas, no widgets appear in the list.
