Release and Testing

Hi All,

We're onto the testing of wookie for the release at the moment - there  
was a bit of a slow-down on the release process over the last week (my  
fault - due to other work pressures). I'd like to get things moving  
again.

There a 40 unresolved - closed issues on the tracker which I'm working  
through at the moment.  Help from any other committer would be greatly  
appreciated here. Any general testing at this stage would also be  
appreciated.

Once we have the issues tested and verified I will create a release  
branch and get the rest of the processes underway.
