I suspect its the JDK  thats a problem - I build on Java 1.6, however I think 
the default for Mac OS X may be 1.5. The IDN package was introduced in Java 6 
to support internationalisation of the web (IRIs, etc). If you switch target 
JDK in the mac prefs to 1.6 you'll probably be OK.
