Yes, I assume its the same issue as with xml declarations and the
doctype should really be the first thing in the file. Funnily enough I
updated a bunch of widget html files and added a doctype to them
yesterday (because some html files had them missing). Some of them
still don't have the doctype declared as the first line and have
comments first, yet they render fine in wookie. It appears that wookies
HTMLCleaner parser has reordered the doctype declaration to be the first
line of the widget start page.
I think I'll update the ones where the doctype isnt on the first line.
I've not tested if this effects markup in a iFrame yet.
