Well spotted - yes, the sniffer method is only called when checking with a
File and not just the src String. The reason it isn't wired into the icon
checks is that we pass all the conformance test cases anyway without bothering
to extract and test files. We probably should add it in, but its not really
urgent. If you like you could create a new low-priority ticket just for that.
