At least as part of the ant/ivy tasks, the maven-metadata.xml is not generated.
I'm not 100% sure about this, but it seems theres a server side task that
regenerates these. Perhaps someone who is more maven savvy can correct me if i
am wrong. Do you want to check again to see if they have been updated in the
repo?
