Regrettably I found a new regression concerning the NOTICE file packaged with
the source distributions (both -src.zip and -src.tar.gz).
In the RC2 this was OK, but now it only contains the (too) minimal notice
about Wookie project only.
As the source distribution is the most important one from ASF pov, I can only
vote -1 on this new RC3, sorry.
Rather than start a RC4 VOTE thread, ask everybody to re-vote and recreate
everything again, can I just upload/replace those two files with the corrected
NOTICE. (if thats the only issue)
No, this RC3 vote is no longer valid. You can't change the 'rules' during the
game.
But as I already have no idea how you produce the current builds as which
notice/license file is put where doesn't seems to come from the 'code' itself,
it seems unnecessary then to rebuild everything from scratch again.
So, updating/uploading the fixed -src archives + starting a new RC4 VOTE thread
would be a compromise acceptable by me, for now.

This is the second incubator release for Apache Wookie, with the artifacts being

(Note: this is a new build to the one sent to this list on 27/10/2011, which
failed to pass its vote)
We are requesting a vote via wookie-dev for the release of the artifacts in the
first instance found here...
http://people.apache.org/~psharples/wookie/staging-area/0p9p1/rc3/
...as the final 0.9.1-incubating release.
PGP release keys (signed using DDED352A):
http://www.apache.org/dist/incubator/wookie/KEYS
Additionally with version 0.9.1-incubating we are releasing 3 sets of maven
artifacts, which we hope will help
others to integrate WOOKIE into their own applications. These are...
1. Wookie itself as a downloadable WAR
2. The W3C parser
3. The Java connector framework
These artifacts are now in the staging area found here...
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachewookie-125/
Please take the time to verify the artifacts before casting your vote.
Vote will be open for 72 hours. (but probably longer)
