The Podling Project Management Committee (PPMC) for Apache Wookie
(Incubating) has asked Hoang Minh Tien to become a committer and we
are pleased
to announce that they have accepted.

Hoang Minh Tien has contributed a couple of
significant patches each of which involved considerable background
work. The first implemented OAuth, a feature that was often requested
by users. The second was in direct response to a request for guidance
in using this feature from myself. Minh responded well to feedback on
these patches and improved them where appropriate.

His first post to the Wookie list was way back in Feb 2011, neearly
all posts have been related to his oAuth work, but he is clearly
reading the lists as he popped up when I asked for help.

Being a committer enables easier contribution to the
project since there is no need to go via the patch
submission process. This should enable better productivity.
Being a PMC member enables assistance with the management
and to guide the direction of the project.
