Taco de Crema

2 onions, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
4 cups tomato puree
2 t. salt
2 t. oregano
12 tortillas
2 cups oil
1 lb jack cheese in strips
10 canned chili peppers in strips
1 quart sour cream

Fry onion and garlic in 2 T. oil until lightly browned. Add tomato puree,
salt, oregano. Cover. Reduce heat, simmer 30 minutes. Fry tortillas in
remaining oil until soft. Remove from oil. Place cheese and peppers inside
tortillas. Roll up. Put stuffed tortillas in baking dish. Mix sour cream and
tomato mixture. Pour over tortillas. Bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes.
