Porterhouse Steaks with Tomato Bruschetta

4 plum tomatoes, chopped, about 1 1/2 cups
2 tbs minced red onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup plus 2 tbs chopped fresh basil
2 tbs plus 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs dry steak seasoning
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
4 porterhouse steaks, 1" thick, about 1 lb each
8 (1/2" thck) slices crusty Italian bread

Prepare grill for direct heat cooking.  Combine tomatoes, onion,
garlic, 1/4 cup basil, 1 tbs oil and salt, reserve.  Combine steak
seasoning and italian seasoning, sprinkle over both sides of
steaks.  Grill, turning, 5-7 min per side for medium rare.  Let
stand for 5min.  Meanwhile, brush both sides of bread with remaining
oil.  Grill, turning once, until toasted, 1-2 minutes per side.  Top
with reserved tomato mixture.  Serve with steaks.
