MAYONAISE  CHOCOLATE CAKE
 
 
 
INGREDIENTS
 
750 ml cake flour
200 ml cocoa
375 ml castor sugar
    5 ml salt
    7 ml bicarbonate of soda
375 ml cold water
     5 ml vanilla essence
275 ml mayonaise
 
ICING
 
250 ml fresh cream
12.5 ml castor sugar
   2  ml  vanilla essence
Strawberry jam
 
 
METHOD
 
Pre heat oven to 180C
 
Sift dry ingredients twice
Mix water, vanilla and mayonaise well and add slowly into dry ingredients
Mix well, but not too much
Pour into two pans
Bake for 30 - 45 mins
 
Icing
 
Beat cream till thick, flavour with vanilla and sugar
 
Spread strawberry jam between cake
Decorate with the cream
Enjoy
