This htread is just funny, not a deep thought. I told a few times that a professor said several times that 2008 will be remembered as the year when the rest of the world saved USA. As a sort of joke, I have to say that in one meeting some months ago, another professor added "if they allow us to save them", among smiles.

As Asian markets rose in the morning, I guess that American markets will raise in a few hours, but it does not change that fact. I guess that it will find a certain path in a few days, but right now nobody knows where that path leads to. Deflation? hyper-inflation? will global growth sustain a certain growth in the US economy as the IMF predicted?
