As an American, intensively loyal to my country, I would like to respond to this.
The current President of the United States of America is a complete and utter moron, OR he's the most devious man any of us have seen in my long lifetime. We, in this country, do not know which. He has played both parts in an effort to confuse Americans and historians. Much of what we now know about the economy was "not known" by even the brightest people in the US because 1) they didn't want to know; 2) they didn't want to believe what they were seeing and hearing; 3) they "hoped" and "prayed" (sheer fantasy) that someone, anyone, knew what was happening and had it under control; 4) the greediest people were able to get their money out in plenty of time. This great (formerly great) nation has been run by ideologues before. Bush is one of them. He believes in doctrines that the rest of the country believe are illogical at best, illegal at worst. Should he be impeached for what he has done to the world? Yes. Should the High Court at Hague arrest him the moment he leaves the country, Yes. He is a traitor to the Constitution, to his country, and his countrymen. And he's an international killer. But here's the rub. More than 1/2 of us knew it before he was installed in office. He was never the elected president of the United States. He cheated in Florida; he cheated again in Ohio. What we don't know, may never know, is whether all of this blame belongs at the feed of the most ill-prepared person to be president in our lifetime, or did he and others mastermine the takeover of the United States so that they could rape the world of resources, including capital? Because he can barely string 4 words together to make a sentence, we may never know if he was a puppet or the greatest puppet master ever to come along. My apologies to the world that he was allowed to do this -- I take responsibility as must all Americans for having unleashed this man on the world. There is no question that we owed it to everyone to start a revolution the moment the Supreme Court acted in the manner they did. We must all hope and pray that whatever justice, karma or seeds of destruction they encounter, they (Bush, his cronies and the Supreme Court that put him there) will be given the full measure -- for all of the lives they have destroyed, the people they have killed, the turmoil they have created and the unborn brought into a world of misery, disease and hatred because of this man. There's no punishment that we can devise that would be good enough for what they have done. He is the Destroyer in Chief.
