The DVD is out-of-print and the used one costs US$200 at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Suzanne-Farrell-Elusive-Paul-Mejia/dp/B00005KA78/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1228981963&sr=1-11
I have recently uploaded two sections of it onto YouTube: 1. Schumann's Davidsbundlertanze: dancers: Suzanne Farrell and Jacques d'Amboise. And, this is the very last ballet that George Balanchine has choreographed before he died in 1983. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT60ykZES_g 2. Gluck's "Orfeo ed Euridice": dancers are Suzanne Farrell and Peter Martins. Peter is the chief Balletmaster at New York City Ballet now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTmbPM_UF7A Make sure to click the "watch in high quality" (the resolution of the original DVD is not that good, YT makes it even worse) Because the Balanchine Trust and New York City Ballet are very aggressive on copyright issue on YouTube, that's why I put the title, Balanchine and the names of the dancers only in Russian, not in English. And, worst of all, NYCB is on my YouTube friends list. Hope they won't read Russian, LOLLLL! I will delete these videos if it get lot attention. I don't want my win081 account got suspended. So watch it before I delete it. I have the complete collection of Balanchine, from VHS to DVDs. It's pity that I can't share with people because it is too risky to upload onto YouTube. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "World-thread" group.
