I have received from a link to a document “Outlook for China’s Economy in 2009 and Beyond” from N. Roubini´s ecomonitor.
https://www.rgemonitor.com I am starting to feel a wish to have a rigurous discussion with him. However, they (financials) are too many to have a discussion with each one. I have a lot to learn from each of them indeed. Obviously, I feel great respect for their efforts and their work. Yet that increases my perplexity. How people who are smart do not realise that the world and the economy cannot be governed through financials means? Lower interest rates do not prevent an economic recession, that fact is one centimerter away their nose proven in USA right now. Trillions injected into banks do not prevent a recession, how is possible that smart people do not realise it? how is posible that smart people are so polluted by "financial-monetarist" algorithms? Why are they unable to see that this is "one world, one global economy" and every domestic economy must count with the rest of the world or economis policies will be useless or worse. Ceteris paribus is past, it is gone, forget it, it does not work any more. Did not they study prof. Krugman yet? Why they cannot understand economic forces beyond financial sectors? Their predictions about China´s collapse fail one after the other since I can remember eight or ten years ago. Why they never ask themselves "what do I wrong?". Why are they unable to realise that are economic structure and agents what determine success or failure of any economy. Financial means are nothing more and nothing else, just means. Financial means are to serve economy, not the opposite. A car has influence on life of people, "it allows" people to do some actions, but it is just a mean, it does not determine success or failure of people, it is either a help to use or an obstacle to weather, nothing more and nothing else. Maybe one day I will have such discussion with one of them. Until them I have to focuss on something productive such as my work. :) Peace and best wishes.
