Throw the system out! There is the "change" we all hoped for and expected from our government and President. The resolution to the bad financial situation is clearly visible and obtainable. But, not one of them is going to do shit about it. Its the greedy and ugly side of human nature and Capitalism. The real hero would be someone that comes forward and has the best interests of the people at heart and takes action to right what is wrong with the system. Its not enough, to expect people to just survive each day living in a system that's been the norm for decades. To change will require dedication and fortitude on the part of the American people, and Americans have it in them to do so, if they are clear on what is the cause. I may have soured on many things about this Nation, but not the majority of it's people's resolve and sense of ethics. The US cannot sit on past laurels and considered itself a real leader or Superpower unless we once again set a good example and make changes to ourselves and eventually, the World. We have the opportunity right in front us now, and instead our elected leaders are pissing away the chance by acting as "same old same old" and desperately trying to justify a system that has failed by disguising it under the name of something new. Quit debating the health care plan, put it on the back burner for now, and address the major issues first, all will then fall into place. MOD My responce is: Waow.. Dear Mod.. No .. not gender.. believe me, but it is how the administration and its tools continue to make the nation blind.. In the last 12 years, I was repeating what you said again and again..No body reads.. No body cares.. Most are dead alive! The solution: March in the streets.. In New Zealand, they still do that..
