There were 700,00 Jews in Iraq. However due to the pressure from the British on the monarchy of Iraq, all Iraqi Jews were deported to Israel, which was in desperate need in 1948 to be created.. Iraqi Jews were dumped in the deserts.. However as Iraqi great people they survived and built New Palastine. In 2003 the American occupants opened the borders to all the peopleĀ from all over the world to come into Iraq and were granted citizenship.. That is how 4 million Iranians and Iranian Kurds migrated in a clear race and religion cleaning. The occupants claimed that they were not able to control the country, but they did all that delibetraly.. Also they "invited" all the terrorists from the Middle East to Iraq..in accordance with the Bush policy to fight the enemies overseas.. HOWEVER.. Americans never allowed a single Iraqi Jew to return and initiatted a law in 2004 banning them from returing to Iraq.. That is of course part of the support to Israel, because otherwise not less than one million Iraq would have left occupied Palastine in a matter of days.. S1000+

For centuries Jews, Christians and Muslims came to Al-Kifl, a small town south
of Baghdad, to visit the tomb of the Prophet Ezekiel and pray.
The site of Ezekiel's tomb in...
The site of Ezekiel's tomb in Iraq
The distinctive Jewish character of the Al-Kifl shrine, namely the Hebrew
inscriptions and the Torah Ark, never bothered the gentile worshipers. In the
14th century a minaret was built next to the shrine, but the interior design
remained Jewish. The vast majority of Iraq's Jewish community left some 60
years ago, but Shi'ites took good care of the holy site.
Until now.
Recently "Ur," a local Iraqi news agency, reported that a huge mosque will be
built on top of the grave by Iraq's Antiquities and Heritage Authority, while
Hebrew inscriptions and ornaments are being removed from the site, all as part
of renovations..."
