The National Bureau of Statistics is due to release key data
reflecting China's economic performance in 2009 this Thursday.

And analysts are expecting China's GDP growth to return to double-
digit in the fourth quarter of 2009. Will this momentum continue this
year? David Wyss, chief economist of Standard & Poor's offers us his
view on China's economic performance in 2009 and also the year ahead.

We expect that our N.B. of Statistics releases growth above 10%.
Somehow it is good news. But on the other hand, as prof. Huo told (*)
and we expected , it is a new challenge because hereinafter we have to
cool economy down along 2010 to avoid price inflation risks.

I will post more information once official data will be released.
Including consequences for the gobal economy.

Peace and best wishes.

Xi
