Need 3D artists...spread the word please!
We are a US-based video game company (TBA next year) and we are
scouting for talents in manila.
We are planning to setup a production studio in Manila next year if we
get enough 3d artists that qualifies.
The platform we are developing for is next generation Playstation 3 and
maybe Xbox360. We are also planning DS and PSP releases if everything
works out. This will be for a real-time engine.
So, right now, we are just building a database of potential 3d
artists....this is a long process of finding the right people, so
please be patient. We will reply to your submissions and questions
privately, and eventually set up interviews and portfolio reviews.
Heres what we are looking for right now....please state which position
you think you fit in.
3d Modellers- (Senior level)
1) Must be proficient with MAYA or MAX (others 3d programs will do
but we will be using Maya & Max)
2) Must pass a take home modelling test with at least a A grade.
(test to be announced)
3) Must have experience in modelling environments, props &
characters.
4) Experience in modelling for real-time engines for Console a
plus...
5) Art degree a plus...will be required to show portfolio.
6) Must be have strong production experience and is schedule
oriented.
3d Modellers (staff Level)
1) Must be proficient with at least modelling in any 3d program.
(MAYA or MAX prefered)
2) Must pass a take home modelling test with at least a B grade.
(test to be announced)
3) No industry experience necessary...pls mention other skills or
experiences in other disciplines.
4) Art degree a plus....will still be required to show portfolio.
3d Modellers (junior level)
1) Familiarity with any 3d program a plus.
2) Art degree a plus but must show a very strong traditional media
art portfolio.
3) Will be expected to learn production pipeline and software skill
quickly.
texture artists
1) must be very proficient with photoshop.
2) experience with zbrush a plus.
3) Must show a strong portfolio in traditional art media.
4) Production experience a plus. (mapping textures, applying
UVs...etc)
5) Must be able to create textures from scratch. (not based on
photographs)
Eventually, we will need animators, riggers, game designers, concept
artists, effects artists, technical artists and lighting artists. If
you fall under one or more of these disciplines, pls send us your info
as well so we can include you in our database.
