Hi guys! Musta na? I'm posting this bulletin for a great cause.
My son, Gabriel, is chosen as one of the players to represent
the Philippines in THE 2009 DANA (Denmark)CUP AND NORWAY CUP
(This 2 tournaments are one of the biggest football games for
kids/teens). Philippines is the reigning champion in Norway.
The RIFA (Rizal Football Association) and the PSC (Philippine
Sports Commision) has chosen only 3 schools (PAREF South Ridge,
Colegio San Agustin and Victory Christian School) to compete
for this International Football Tournament.
Gabriel is a grade 4 homeschool student from Victory Christian
School. He's the defender of their soccer team and they have
been winning numbers of tournaments in the country, like the
Mosman Cup, RIFA Tournament, Ateneo Cup, Honda Cup, Kellogs Cup
and the Pasig-San Juan Private School Association, wherein they
are the current Champion, representing Pasig for the NCR meet.
Who among you knows that this is a once in a lifetime
experience and a great pride to represent our country?
It is a dream of Gabriel to play internationally. As a parent,
I would realy love to see my son representing and winning for
the country. And I'm sure that you will surely love to be a
part of this young boy's dream.
Each player will be soliciting a huge amount to fulfill each
boy's dream. We are given until the 20th of March to complete
the entire amount. It may sound impossible to solicit the
amount of almost $4000 (around P200,000) for the kid alone, but
we are keeping our faith(...sure of what is hoped for and
certain of what we do not see).
I would really appreciate if you can help us personally or
recommend an organization, company, foundation, people and
corporation who you think will be willing to contribute for
this good cause. Also, if you have any idea on how to set up a
fund raising event for something like this, please let me know.
