Since the best implemented weapon seems to be the dynamite I made 2
sounds for it. You might recognize the explosion sound. It's one of my
old sounds resampled to 44100 Hz (does that make sense?).
yes it make sense to resampled the sound to 44100 Hz. Of course, it
doesn't increase the quality, but some buggy driver for some sound cards
support only 44100 Hz (i810 chipset with OSS driver for example).
The fuze sound is new.
Let us hope they work out well when combined.
On the list (https://gna.org/task/?func=detailitem&item_id=547), what
do you mean by ' - pose | "launch" '? Do you mean the laughing a worm
gives when putting it on the ground in the original?
Well, I don't know exactly... The worm is laughing only when the
dynamite is really near the ennemy, but when it is far, there is also a
sound, the dynamite which felt on the ground.
The sound bites and jokes the worms made (depending on the sets) where
one of the funniest parts of Worms. That should be implemented as well
in Wormux. A soundset for each team :-)
yes, I agree with you. But for the moment, the priority is for sound
effects. I don't know what to decide for wormux. Does each team have a
different sound for step, jump, and any movement, or is it good just for
voice. I think if every movement is different, this is lot of work.
