Follow-up Comment #1, bug #9437 (project wormux):
I'm not sure what's to be expected from a Linux system, but I have a proposal
to test various versions of libpng. Either the tester couldn't apply the
solution (patch configure.ac and regenerate configure) because of freebsd
ports mechanims, or bash/autotools are bugged.
We couldn't clarify this yet.
I'll however submit something hopefully improving things...
