From some posts, it seems fribidi may have some problems for such languages
as yours:

I've just spent some time on it, to no avail. Any reference code I found
yields the same erroneous display, even when forcing to arabian the type of
language.
Interestingly enough, vi displays the text as bad as us, but gedit gets it
right...
