Follow-up Comment #2, bug #11443 (project wormux):
Argh, firefox crashed before I could finish my writeup...
From various posts in mailing lists, it is most probably due to the X11 SDK.
I've updated configure to avoid x11 detection under linux.
The root of the error seems to be a #define Status 0 somewhere (maybe x11).
Let's first see if the configure script fixes anything.
