Follow-up Comment #2, bug #11512 (project wormux):
On my computer, libintl was detected correctly by configure. Snaggle's
problem is probably something else (most likely his environment is not setup
properly)
checking for GNU gettext in libintl... yes
checking whether to use NLS... yes
checking where the gettext function comes from... external libintl
checking how to link with libintl... -lintl -Wl,-framework -Wl,CoreFoundation
