Details:
Ideally, upon installation, a shortcut should be created so that the user can
read it. This a packaging issue:
- under windows, the installer creates the shortcuts
- under linux, the specific system (post-install?) does the equivalent (xdg
stuff?)
I'm assigning it to myself, as I will be the one to implement this for the
windows installer.
