Follow-up Comment #2, task #6155 (project wormux):

In fact, it will work like this (in my mind):
- the client connects to the index server, it announces version 0.8 for
instance (let's say 0.8 is deprecated in this example)
- the index server checks the version and if it know this version, it's ok.
Else, it will answer "bad version" and then the supported versions.
- the client will display a prompt to the user saying that is version is not
supported and that supported version are : "0.8.1-svn, and 0.8.1"

We can also show the url "http://www.wormux.org/wiki/download.php"; but we are
unable to made a true link that works on Linux, *BSD, MacOS X, Windows...
