Details:
When it's the turn of the other player and when we play a game I am hosting I
see after a few seconds after his turn start a message "Waiting for <name of
other player>" and the game pauses.
Then after a short interval (0.1s -10s) the game continues for a fraction of
a second and pauses again. This switching between waiting and playing
continues until it's my turn again. The other player sees a "Waiting for
<me>" message when he has finished his turn until I have seen him finishing
his turn too.
Another side effect of this bug is that chat messages don't reach me
instantly when it's the turn of the other player but only when the game time
is the same for me like as it was for the other player when the message got
sent.
I used a tool to observe the network traffic and found out that after a lot
of small TCP packages the package rate drops rapidly.
Amazingly the packages don't get larger but stay very small when the package
rate drops to one package each 0.1 -10 seconds.
Note that the bug does not occur if I join one of the games hosted by a head
less server.
