Follow-up Comment #2:
Sad as it is, you can for now increase your current solution from your
800xsomething-like to something bigger, getting the field bigger, and thus
allowing more characters to be put in.
The cause is we don't want to bother with scrollable content.
One solution is to allow the field to be larger, up to the right side of the
window. I have something for that here.
