Follow-up Comment #3, task #6927 (project wormux):

Some comments:
1) General content
Putting as much information in the interface will be troublesome with lower
resolutions: current interface is already scaled down to fit in the screen.
Edit your config.xml and set 480x320 to see what I mean

2) Intent of the various shapes of the interface
While the top left image is obvious (close to what we currently have), when
would the other parts show up?

3) Death mode
although text is displayed every turn, indeed we might be more explicit. And
putting it in the interface is probably better than anywhere else, where it
would hide things

4) Weapon strength
I disagree that it should replace the content of the interface: the
information there is still interesting (wind strength, time left, ...). And
this is not replaced by enough relevant information.

5) Weapon information
There might be no room in the bottom right corner (see 1).

6) General touchscreen support
I have added a button to shoot to the interface, and moved the weapon menu to
the left (on low resolution it was showing over the minimap, quite
troublesome). But I really have trouble putting all the controls on the
screen:
- said shoot button should be moved to its own location
- how to design, display and interact with controls to move and aim? We
currently can't jump either on touchscreens
- if we display an help box for the weapon, it should not obstruct the
display of anything else
