I'm totally with you all on this. I have never been happy about the promotion of "premium" stuff on the Codex in any way.
And I think it is natural to add an option for versions, especially as the information is already in there. I think it should be sortable by versions. So who do we talk to on the WordPress/Automattic staff handling the Extend projects to nag them to make this happen? Hmmm, can't remember. I'll have to ask. Do you know?
