I was wondering about this myself a while back. Agreed - deletion
works. There's also a template called {{Oldversion}} which is *almost*
suitable except it makes reference to "following a procedure" rather
than being generic. (IE suitable for any content) Maybe a more generic
version of that would be good, if you still want to keep the older
pages?
