What about a creative commons license for the docs?
There is also GFDL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Free_Documentation_License and think
some manuals are also available under LGPL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Lesser_General_Public_License as it's
less restrictive than the GPL for commercial use.
