# If you want to have WordPress to have its own folder on your web site (e.g. http://example.com/blog/ ), create a folder with the preferred name (e.g. blog) on the server. Then, upload all of the contents of the 'wordpress' folder (but not the folder itself) into the newly created folder on your web server (e.g. blog). I know this is late in the discussion. But, I wanted to present the above modification as a possibility. I like the other paragraphs. The main impetus for even suggestion and alteration is to create a situation in which the upload process is basically the same. The only difference being the target directory on the server. Just a thought. Regards, Claude Needham _______________________________________________ wp-docs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-docs
