I'm a new “Polyglot”, from Portugal. I’m a web designer and a teacher
and I’ve been using WordPress both for some of my clients and for my
school, where I’m building right now a mini blog farm with it. I’ve been
using the present PT translation available in the codex, which I tried
to improve, as it is only a first working version, as recognized by its
author. I thought of downloading the official POT and do a complete
translation, and I did it, but I found out that it seems to be outdated
as there are many strings that continue to appear in English in the blog
even after all the strings in the POT were translated. I used WordPress
1.5.2 (as I do not like to use beta versions for projects for other
entities than myself) and the official POT. Am I doing something wrong?
Should I have used another POT file?
