Why use a so complicated way?

It's just a matter of choice. Under Unix/Linux, typing command usually
works quicker; but under Windows, where gettext utilities aren't readily
available, POedit is the only way to do the conversion.

Take the 2.0.5 .po select updated from POT file under the Catalog menu
of POedit (that he says he's using) and select the POT for 2.1 and
POedit wiull do all the works to show new strings and delete obsolete
ones...
