Hi,

Croatian WP localization team here.

You must have been reading our minds recently... Please do count us in!
Currently I am maintaining the site on my personal domain, but the subdomain
on wordpress.org would be most welcome, since it would ease much of my
efforts to share the localization project with interested fellow Croatian
WP-ers, and release WP as promptly as possible, localized as much as
possible.

[E.g. the overall idea is to always provide the freshest WP release, and to
gradually enrich the package with other files, documentation (including
Codex), most needed plugins and most sought-after themes and widgets. There
are plenty of possibilities, but for now most of our work is done through
Pootle or Poedit, concentrating on keeping pace with the timing of most
recent releases of the installation package deployed through wordpress.org.]

Croatian country code is hr, local name: Hrvatska. Therefore, in the spirit
of true localization, my suggestion for subdomain for official WordPress
site on Croatian would be either:
hr.wordpress.org (preferred), or
hrvatska.wordpress.org.
Both of these subdomains seem to be unoccupied at the moment.

As for the blog layout, I like the looks - very much in WP style; and quite
as I imagined it should be, for starters. And I am looking forward to see
our localizations getting as close as possible to the official English WP
site(s), both in the content and the presentation.

Thanks for this great initiative and for considering this request!

Best regards,

Mirta Didara
Croatian WordPress Localization Team Leader
