Suggested dealing with long translations, which get out of their box or break layout:
0. Get creative. Choose a shorter translation. Languages, other than English, tend to be too verbose. 1. Abbreviate. Not applicable in all case, but worth trying. 2. Place a <locale>.php file in wp-content/languages, which changes the layout through CSS. Andrew has a good example for making the menu 10px wider: http://trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/8472/ru_RU.php Please, use the last technique as a last resort only! It can break other parts of the layout and will be a hell for maintenance. Happy translating, Nikolay. _______________________________________________ wp-polyglots mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-polyglots
