It took three or four refreshes per page, but I eventually did it.
Writing the post was even worse.
I was talking to Cátia (WP Brasil) at about the same time and she was
experiencing the exact same problem.

When opening pt.wordpress.org/wp-admin I get either 404's, misconfigured CSS
or redirected to wordpress.org (no locale). Just when trying to release RC2,
it's not funny.
Was it a temporary problem? I see you have managed to release RC2.
