we would also like to add the user 'arkimedia' as an administrator to
fi.wordpress.org and give him svn access. I'm a bit confused with some
of the instructions. Does the Rosetta package have an effect on other
than the admin section of our local site?

-New versions are built and released at Tools → Translations for fi
(this will probably change to finnish once you update the Rosetta
package)

like to know if someone has already volunteered to take care of the Finnish
translation effort. If not, I would like to volunteer to do this. We already
have a group of people keen to co-operate with me in this, and have set up a
site for Finnish wordpress-related stuff (http://wordpress-suomeksi.fi), but
obviously using official channels would make more sense.
