There's been backwards steps for the people who want it all easy
aswell. In 1.5.2 people can specify the size of their thumbnails -
200px wide, 400px wide, or a custom width. Now you don't get a choice
- you're stuck with a maximum of 128x96.

There was also a simple hack to get WordPress to show the code for a
thumbnail linked to the original image. Now people using Internet
Explorer are unable to do this with out knowledge of HTML.

Don't get me wrong. I can see that there's been a lot of work put into
this, there are some big improvements and I really do appreciate that.
It just seems that in some areas version 2 is going to have to "catch
up" with 1.5.
