I'm the admin yes. As far as I can see it filters all the html anyhow...
so sounds like a bug. I'd like confirmation from someone else before I
filed a report though... just to make sure.

Do you have the unfiltered_html capability? If you're an admin, the
answer is yes. If so, this is a bug.
