Any chance that the 2.1 spell checker will be made available in the
quicktags? Isn't it currently only the RTE?

See for yourself! [1] WP.com and WP.org 2.1 are on parallel
development tracks, so WP.com is a great way to preview 2.1 without
messing around with SVN and DB info. In fact, WP.com can open up
beta testing to a lot more people than were previously able (or
capable) of doing it before, which will hopefully mean that the 2.1
won't be plagued by the problems 2.0.3 has, because it will be far
more thoroughly tested!
While I prefer the speed and functionality offered by either my OS
(OS X in any Cocoa App like Safari), or in my browser (Firefox 2.0
is building it in), not everyone has that setup or has installed a
toolbar... and sometimes I'm at a computer that is not my own, and
I'm one of the world's worst spellers, so even as a backup system,
it's great to have.
