I have just upgraded wp from 2.0.4 to 2.0.5. Lucky me, I am in the minority of users who required the plugin to fix the 500 error (many thanks for providing that fix, Mark) .
In the comments area of the 500 error fix plugin download page, Mark Asquith wrote: .............................................. :If you are one of the people affected, wed appreciate it if youd :speak up on the wp-testers list so we can work with you to :develop that solution. :........................................................ Here I am, dutifully speaking up. My wordpress is hosted by crosswinds.net. I have installed it myself (there is also a fantastico install provided by crosswinds.... no idea if that toowill require the plugin once fantastico finally updates from version 2.0.4 to 2.0.5) I am not at all skilled enough to be a tester but hope the following will be of help to testers. Here are the versions that are listed in my cpanel: Operating system FreeBSD Kernel version: 4.11-RELEASE-p13 Apache version 1.3.34 (Unix) PERL version 5.8.8 PHP version 4.4.2 MySQL version 4.0.27-log -ejm etherwork.net/blog/ _______________________________________________ wp-testers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-testers
