This code always works for me:
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350" data=" http://www.youtube.com/v/YOUTUBEVIDEO";><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value=" http://www.youtube.com/v/YOUTUBEVIDEO"; /></object> It works with all flv videos (just make sure the width and height are adjusted for google video etc or it won't show).
