Another "related" issue: If you adds a manually trackback URI in trackback
field and set publish the post in future date, the trackback sends in the
moment you press "publish", I'm mind the good behavior is wait to the
future date for send the trackback.
I am using WP 2.0.x.
Its a long known issue with WP 2.0.x, WP 2.1.x fixes the issue. This
issue is actually likely what the original author is referring too,
he/she just didn't realize that they're being sent at the time you
actually save instead of the publish time.
