I'll say this though, the devs SHOULD post about the plugin
compatibility issues SOON though. Because most of them on Matt's
original plugin compatible page will not work on 2.3. Heck, even 99%
that works with 2.2 won't either. There's ALOT that was changed from the
lesser versions - to 2.3. Meaning, files relocated, renamed, folder
structures, etc etc.

I've heard that some plugins included upgrade-functions.php. Anything
other file reorgs causing problems?

Well, possible database errors from the users table? When I tried installing Lester's (GamerZ) Useronline plugin, it spit a couple database errors. I have to find the errors again, but I think it had something to do with the row/column count was off by one.

I'm not sure if that had to do with the WP database table for sure, or if it's his plugin. But I had talked with him on Live Messenger about this other week, or month, and he said he'd look into it more when 2.3 went beta. Since it went beta, I haven't spoken to him about it. But I'll ask him soon though. I'll also have to try reinstalling the plugin, and copy/paste in the full error and let you know.

Just curious, has there been database schema changes for certain tables, or? Like, added rows/columns or whatever in certain ones, or not? I'm not sure what all was changed really, I'm just asking because I have been running 2.3 since it started and I'm going by HIS plugin error. =/ I'm guessing, besides file renaming, reorgs, etc... that any possible database changes that had been made, might throw some off. That's an IF though.

I'm assuming you had made this (2.3) with Back Compatibility in mind right? So, most things should be ok. I'm not sure about Category related plugins, stat plugins and such. I guess this could be some of the things that could fall under the "testing". =/ I'll have to reinstall his plugin again and see what it spit. And maybe check some others too. =)
