Ive installed 2.5 in a local test environment on my PC and love the new
design. I think that maybe it would be nice to add a few pieces of ajax
tho.

Hey Guys,
Love the new design. Question / Comment though...
I can only see the light blue background color behind the form fields in
the settings page if I tilt my laptop screen all the way back as far as
it will go... when I do this it looks brilliant. I just thought I better
ask now while its still early days - I'm using a standard MacBook and it
doesnt matter what my brightness settings are.
If I'm commenting too early I'd love to help the new designers rather
then bug everybody on this list.... sooooo is there a list for the
design specifically or is this list just going to have to cut the
mustard.

We can download it..and well, the server just over writes the changelog
files...and run upgrade.php.
Saves me alot of headache uploading..and downtime etc...because my host
is a rigid one.

Firstly, yes, it would be a lot of hassle to create an auto-update
function.
Secondly, if your host is really strict then very likely any auto-update
that came with WordPress wouldn't work on your server anyway.
Which is not to say it'll never happen, or even that it won't happen for
the next version, but it's not exactly a simple undertaking.

Firstly, yes, it would be a lot of hassle to create an auto-update
function.
Secondly, if your host is really strict then very likely any auto-update
that came with WordPress wouldn't work on your server anyway.
Which is not to say it'll never happen, or even that it won't happen for
the
next version, but it's not exactly a simple undertaking.
