Thats not the same. The plugin will automatically jump back to default if the browser is not compatible. By that It does follow the basic rule. But if no alternative is available for the unsupportive browsers because the developer don't "bother", my satement stands solid.

One of the finest admin style plugins ever released for WordPress.? Will not work in IE, by design.? Does Steve Smith not belong in the web development community?



I wrote an active-x control at my last job for internal use (IE was the company standard).? Obviously it required IE to work.? Does that make me lazy?



The rule doesn't fit every situation.





And why would anyone even think of doing that?

All developers goal should be to have a cross-browser support of their

software. The ones who does not simply simply does not belong in the

webdevelopment commuinty; as the lack of discipline does not relate.



One word and one word only; Laziness.
